I love it when I find a crockpot version of one of our favorite dishes. That’s why I got excited when I came across this crockpot hamburger stroganoff recipe and couldn’t wait to give it a try. It was simple to make and a big hit at dinner time. It’s since been a regular on my meal plan. I’d say that on average I make it about twice a month. It’s just one of those good “stick to your bones” kind of meals. You don’t really need much of a side dish with this. Fall is the classic apple season and our local Farmer’s Market has been overflowing with fresh-picked apples from the local orchards. In our family, we eat apples all of the time. It’s not only because they’re so good for us, it’s that we truly enjoy eating them. Apples also make a wonderful dessert treat, whether made as a warm cinnamon cobbler or a homemade pie, served warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
