Beef Stroganoff From The Crockpot
I love it when I find a crockpot version of one of our favorite dishes. That’s why I got excited when I came across this crockpot hamburger stroganoff recipe and couldn’t wait to give it a try. It was simple to make and a big hit at dinner time. It’s since been a regular on my meal plan. I’d say that on average I make it about twice a month. It’s just one of those good “stick to your bones” kind of meals. You don’t really need much of a side dish with this. I usually just cut up some fresh fruit to serve alongside the stroganoff (which is of course served over cooked noodles).
I’m always surprised to hear from friends that they don’t really use their crockpot at all. Almost everyone I know has one, but doesn’t take advantage of the hundred or even thousands of yummy crockpot recipes out there. It just makes cooking dinner every night so much easier for me when my beloved slowcooker does most of the work for me at least a few times each week.
